A few updates regarding life – after having worked at my first-ever job for almost a year, I left this past Friday (i.e. 24th October). A bitter-sweet day, as I knew it was something I didn’t want to commit to for life, but, I did meet some amazing people and never thought I’d bond with them like I did.
On to the future – I have begun the course I mentioned in a previous post – English teaching and am looking forward to this developing. If nothing else, it should be interesting and great for some character development. I’ll keep you updated on the progress, as time crawls on by.
On to the crux of the matter – in my leaving card from work, a colleague signed it, declaring ‘she had always liked me’ and left me a phone number! This happens fewer times than a global ice age, so it really is something. Right now, I’m riding the wave of euphoria that comes with the feeling of thinking someone finds you physically attractive! With a more realistic approach, I’m going to text her (despite her saying ‘call me’) and see what happens. I don’t think our likes, opinions etc. particularly match up, but heck, I’m not going to let that deprive an opportunity.
In other news, I will soon be attending a Catholic Youth event in Liverpool – hopefully, meet some other genuine young, like-minded people – peace out, for now.
P.S. Hope you enjoyed the happy blog for a change!
